For Spec-tacular, the theme for this year's Christmas 2014 is:

 'The Blue Xs'.

These are boys hand warmers, with cartoon dinosaurs on them.

The name of it, says it all.

This is a girls tiara craft set.

It says it has gems, things to colour in, etc.

Just took me back to childhood.

Loved Disney, but to think I wasn't much of a girly-girl. Always loved the moral and tales of the stories.

'Halloween 2014: The Clever Neon Outfit', by NB2

Addition:

Making a makeshift epaulette

Equipment:

- 3 to 5 laces

- Paint, Glitter Paint Or Spray Paint

- Thread, PVA Glue, Glue Gun, Safety Pin or Super Glue

1) Recycle laces or buy thick laces at a sewing shop. 

2) Dip into a colour of paint and water, glitter paint, etc. Or spray paint can be brought at DIY shops. *ID may be required or ask a parent

3) Leave to dry. Once dry, take one lace and wined it into a circle. Do so with the other lace. Secure with thread or PVA Glue, etc.

4) Once dried, take one lace and loop into a single circle.

5) Then attach one end of the single lace, to the middle of one wined circle. Do the same, opposite the single lace to the other wined circle

6) Set to dry. Then attach to your clothing, whether by glue, thread or safety pin.

Ribbons - best buys are at card shops + stationary shops. Might look like Christmas, but it's about fun + dressing up.

Fan + Handheld Fan - can be painted and styled.

My tip would be to use Acrylic Paint due to fast dry and a gel marker to style the fan.

*look out for pop up shops at shopping centres. Their great for bargains and even one-off buys. One of a kind items.

Hint: have an alternative to the item that you may like. This gives you a chance to get the item available. Also, in store some items may be similar to the item you may like.
